R.I.P. Graham-Cassidy (and let’s hope it stays in the grave) The Senate will not vote on Graham-Cassidy, as the opposition of McCain, Collins, and Paul is enough to torpedo it. However, it’s not over yet, and the GOP plan to try and force something through on “reconciliation,” so: Action: 1. Call your senators and tell them how very thankful you are that Graham-Cassidy is kaput. Tell them what you’d like instead. 2. If you didn’t thank Senator Collins and Senator McCain yet, send them some love. No point in thanking Rand Paul, as although his opposition turned out to be helpful, it was for the wrong reasons. If you have time, it's worth reading Collins' and McCain's press releases about their decision to oppose Graham-Cassidy. https://www.collins.senate.gov/newsroom/health-policy-specialists-confirm-graham-cassidy-health-care-proposal-would-have https://www.mccain.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/press-releases?ID=1D7F89BB-FF93-41A5-85B8-C87E3CCCC4CE
