The Vultures are Circling The House is looking to make drastic cuts in spending in order to finance Trump’s plans to build the infamous Wall and enact tax cuts, while at the same time complying with his wish to leave Medicare and Social Security alone. House members are scrambling to find other places to make cuts, and the programs which are in for the axe are likely to be those which help the most vulnerable, such as food stamps, welfare, income assistance for the disabled and perhaps even veterans benefits. The House is going to be busy with this in the coming days and weeks. Now is the time to let our Representatives know that we can do without tax cuts for the rich, but we canNOT do without programs to help the vulnerable. SOME of these programs, however, would not be necessary if the House were to enact a living minimum wage law. Action:
