Climate Change Donald Trump made it a campaign pledge that he would pull the U.S.A. out of the Paris climate accord. Trump and his cabinet are currently reassessing whether or not the U.S. should continue to be a part of the agreement. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson is inclined to keep us in (and has just signed the Fairbanks Declaration), while EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt wants to pull us out. Action: 1. Send a message to the State Department applauding Secretary Tillerson’s signing of the Fairbanks Declaration and asking him to keep us in the Paris Agreement. You can use this contact form. 2. Call and/or email the EPA Administrator, Scott Pruitt, asking him to keep the U.S.A. committed to the Paris Agreement and to redouble our nation’s efforts to reduce carbon emissions.
