Reauthorize VAWA Funding for the Violence Against Women Act (originally passed with bipartisan support in 1994) expired on February 15 this year. On March 7, House Democrats introduced H.R. 1585, Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act of 2019, which would reauthorize funding and establish new policies to protect victims and potential victims of violence. Action: Contact your Member of Congress and ask them to support H.R. 1585, Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act of 2019. If your MoC is one of the cosponsors, thank them.
