A Day to be Thankful


​National School Walkout

Yesterday, children all over the country took part in the National School Walkout to honor the lost students of Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School and to protest the inaction of adults to protect children from gun violence.

​We all owe a debt of gratitude to these children, and we look forward to the day when they are running the country!

Action:

Try to find out how your local school district handled the walkout. Send a message of thanks to your district if it was supportive and a message of criticism if not.
