Supreme Court Vacancy


Effective July 31, Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy will be retiring. He has been a swing vote on the court, aligning himself sometimes with the more liberal justices and sometimes with the more conservative.

Action:

Call your Senators and ask them to oppose any ideological extremist nominated to the Supreme Court. The best candidate would continue Kennedy’s non-ideological stance and should receive broad bi-partisan support. No divisive nominee should be considered. If your Senator is a Democrat, stress that they should NOT BE A WIMP and should do everything in their power to block the nomination of an ideologue.
