Muslim Ban The Supreme Court has allowed the Trump Muslim ban to stand pending legal challenges in various parts of the country. Meanwhile, there are bills before the House and Senate to block implementation of the ban. The House bill, H.R. 4271, was introduced by Rep. Judy Chu (D-CA-27), and has been referred to the House Judiciary Committee, the House Foreign Affairs Committee, the House Homeland Security Subcommittee on Border and Maritime Security, and the House Intelligence Committee. The Senate bill, S. 1979, was introduced by Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) and has been referred to the Senate Judiciary Committee. Action: 1. If your MoC is a co-sponsor of the bill, thank them. 2.
