War in Yemen On March 13, the Senate passed S.J. Res. 7, “A joint resolution to direct the removal of United States Armed Forces from hostilities in the Republic of Yemen that have not been authorized by Congress” by a 54-46 vote. On April 4, the House passed the same bill 247-175. Yesterday, Trump vetoed the bill. It now remains for the House and Senate to override his veto. Action: 1. Contact your Member of Congress and ask them to vote to override the president’s veto of S.J. Res. 7. 2. Contact your Senators and ask them to vote to override the president’s veto of S.J. Res. 7.
