Keep Children Safe


This is to follow up on our September 4 Action on H. Con. Res. 72. This bipartisan legislation aims to equip courts to deal with custody adjudications so that the safety and well-being of the child is given first priority. This week, volunteer lobbyists are on the Hill, meeting with their congressional representatives to educate them about this issue and to ask them to support H. Con. Res. 72.

Action:

Contact your Member of Congress and ask them to welcome their constituents who are in Washington to lobby for H. Con. Res. 72. Ask your MoC to meet with these people in order to learn more about the issues from those who have had first-hand experience, and ask them to co-sponsor the Resolution. If your MoC is already a co-sponsor, send them a message of thanks.
